DISASTER ECONOMICS ASSESSMENT EXTENSION PROGRAM PLAN

The Disaster Economics Assessment Extension Program will provide information and tools for coastal communities and residents, marine, horticultural, coastal-related industries, business establishments and organizations, state and federal regulatory agencies, land grant and sea grant research and extension staff to develop damage assessment economic models. These models can be used in measuring the direct economic impacts of disaster events on commercial fisheries landings, aquaculture and agricultural production, county gross sales, dockside and farmgate values of commercial landings, agricultural and aquaculture production.

Coastal communities and residents, marine, horticultural, coastal-related industries, business establishments and organizations, state and federal regulatory agencies, and land grant and sea grant research and extension staff.
